It's the type of transmission, the clutch is not needed on the upshift. I believe it's called a Hewland transmission. I believe the PTG M3s used those stateside in ALMS and other series.

I thought that was a pretty damn good vid..i would have a hard time understanding that i could upshift without clutch and downshift using the clutch.. lol i think i'd get confused from the massive adrenaline pumping through my veins :roll:
