    wow. impressive project and an entertaining read as well.

    those of the truly-old-school persuasion may know that there was a factory-built twin-engined (dual 1.8 16v) scirocco built by VW in the 80s... found an ad for it once while browsing ancient microfiche copies of motor trend @ the library while i was in high school (what can i say, i've had this disease for a long time).

    next he needs to ditch CIS fueling and dual-megasquirt it :D

When the two engines are seperate like that, the power is not cumulative, so really the only thing increasing the Vehicles speed is the fact that each engine, is only moving around half a sciroccos weight.
