I beg to differ I have seen a Z1 in person and I would love to own one myself. The only car I have not seen in person yet is the 3.0 CSL.... hopefully that'll change one day.

Agreed Z1 is fugly... read an article about a guy in Isreal who owns one. He gets it painted every year... so I guess if you like them you really like them.

I've seen all of those in person, and I kinda like the Z1, the interior is really nifty, and the entire car is just wild imho.

out of those cars i must say the csl is the most beautiful. There was a nice collection of them at bimmerfest. The z1 is a nice car also very beautiful with nice curves imo. The m1 is ugly but fucking awsome(some how it works like that) thats my 2 cents.

I've seen the M1 and the 3.0 CSL in person and both are beautiful. Am I the only one that sees a lot of Z1 aspects in the Z8?

Yes. The Z8 was designed to emulate a different, ealier model BMW.

very true. it was partially a modern interpretation of the old bmw 507 roadster

Which one? I just though the view of the front reminded me a lot of the Z8. Not saying it was modeled after it, just resembled the Z8 a bit.
