Idea for a Heat extraction hood

Looked at the hood of a Shelby Daytona coupe and thought it would look good on an e30. Thoughts, Comments?

Is it something you're going to daily or track?
Because any sort of aftermarket hood that has vented slits or whatever scoop looks ridiculous.

Plans are for a street legal track car. My car has a m30 in it and I figured this would help.

The Competition concepts hood vent is an E30 specific vent with a homage to the M1. I think it looks badass, and it's what I'll be using on my car.

you could also just use a standard floor vent from Home Depot.

Just raise the rear hood stop slider catch things all the way up. It's free and will probably look better then any hood scoop.
