                  I have seen this and it doesn't surprise me that these engines can make it to the million mile mark. But also take note that they did the recommended maintenance when it was needed, as opposed to the average person that neglects it. This is also another outstanding reason why I refuse to sell my E30; the engines are damn near bulletproof and they are what started the popularity of the 3 series as it is today. Love it.

                        someone should do the math on the cost of running the e30 with bmw scheduled maintenance for 1,000,000 miles.

                        at some point, i bet the numbers say to just buy a new car lol

                            You can do all the maintenance you want and your car still.won't hit a 1000000 without a ton of repairs. The Most wear and damage happense during the warm up and when you start it when its been sitting for a while
