    SLEEPYDUBs 2JZ E30 vs LS1 Camaro

Alright we decided to do a little roll race yesterday.

First race that is shown is from a 50 and we were both in 2nd. I spin very badly at any speed starting under 80 so you can imagine how bad this was. I had to let off and get back in just to keep the car straight.

Second race shown is a 60 roll. I got a little better traction this time but Andy said i was still laying some rubber down.

This car is sketchy as its on stock suspension that's 26 years old. This may be my last race for a while.

    Anyways, enjoi

Not a big fan of "roll" racing, rather see cars take off from a dig.

I like a race from a roll rather than from a dig.
It's the best way to compare real, usable acceleration. Races from a dig are too much a contest of traction rather than just a pure comparison of power to weight.

Judging by the way the stayed pretty even when from a roll, I would bet the ls1 would take it if it was from a dig.

I think throwing the traction factor makes it a lot more interesting when setting up a car. But then it is used for an excuse by whoever loses.

I like "roll" racing to an extent. It does show you whos got the power, but it also makes the race more motor vs motor and less car and driver vs car and driver.
This race for example just doesnt make me think hell yeah e30 ftw. Its more like 2jz ftw. Enjoyed the race still just my view on "roll" racing.

you are a moron. stop street racing. do we not have a rule on r3v about posting street racing stories/videos? it makes us all look bad. sign up for an HPDE program at a race track and learn something. also, grow up.
