help with camera (blurry shots) weird.

i went to the bike show and ended up having some blurry pictures.
but i took 2 pictures of the same thing at times and the second picture would come out clear. i'm taking the pictures in full auto mode with no flash and here is an example of what i'm talking about.

the first 2 shots the shutter speed changed from 1/10(blurry) to 1/13(clear) and the second set the iso went from 100(blurry) to 125(clear)

any ideas on what can be wrong?

The auto mode on your camera will adjust the exposure and shutter speed. One way to avoid the bluriness is to manually set the exposure measured in f stop lower and your shutter measured in seconds a tad higher in order to get the right balance. In an environment like the one you shot in, a bigger aperature (lower f stop) and shorter shutter speeds are ideal. I'm no photo buff but hopefully that helps.

lol 1/10 or 1/13 you pray that your shot will come out clear. Use a flash and the shutter speed with increase a ton. Also the ISO if the "film speed" or equivalent with your digi cam. If you up the ISO you can use a shorter shutter speed but you increase the grain. My suggestion would be to use the flash or get a tripod. Its hard mess with the settings on your point and shoot. I dont know how much aperature control you have if any but you could decrease that and try and get a shorter shutter speed.

      I bombed Korea every night.
