Thanks everyone. Although I must say I like the painted rockers look.

1) It's not like everybody else's E30 (I know some people do it, but not the majority)
2) It makes the car look lower sort of, doesn't look so thinned out

I disagree. I think the black lower portion makes the car actually look lower.
