                  I just put 17 inch ATS on my E30. They're nice wheels but I can't help feeling like 17's just look too big. Probably depends on the car/rim/tire though.

                    hmm.. well here is a picture of the car as it is now.. i like and don't like the 17" but i just have to see what they look like when i get my coilovers! :)

                        Yea, the older models look crazy with 17's and no airdam/rear valence. Makes the car look Chevy-like. I do think you could pull that off though. Not with a bone stock early model though.

                          It is all about the ride height and offset fitment. I think anything above 17" is too big unless it is: MT2 models and e30 M3s.

                              I always liked the 17's on E30s, as long as they fit well
