yea man that shit is hard to drift in that game. gt3 wasnt as hard but gt4 u spin like everytime u get a lil crocked. wat are ur settings for the r32?
Hell yes it was easier in GT3, I had an AE86 that Jordan set up for me, and an S2000 that I built, and I could drift the shit out of them! In GT4, I can't seem to replicate the settings I had on my S2K, it just won't drift the same. Post up your specs for the R32!

Make sure you change the oil!
Tires: Sport Soft all-around
Get all the usual hop up parts, you basically want to max out the car.
Nitrous if you like, keep it at 50.

some general points for tuning any car for drift:
- Don't make it such a stiff spring rate, it makes the car more twitchy, and give it the popular tendency to snap-oversteer
- Softer in the rear than the front
- LOCK the LSD, meaning 60 for the middle bar
- Less brakes in the front so that there is less load on the front tires so you can enter a turn braking.
also, there are several techniques I use:
- heel-toe (yes, it can be done) just stay on the gas, and "blip" the clutch by tapping or sliding the bottom of your thumb across the circle.
- e-brake - you can hear this A LOT in my video, it also kills the engine, like clutching in so you can.......
- SHIFT LOCK! After you've e-braked, the clutch is engaged, so put it in a lower gear and slowly slide on the gas, this will make the gears engage in a different manner, and your car will start sliding outta nowhere!
now try it with the wheel and without using the ebrake
I was using a steering wheel.
And I don't actually use the e-brake as much as I say I do. I'm just trying to encourage e-braking, because it's more than just a cheater's button, it can help lengthen slides and essentially "reset" your slide.
It's not that I'm trying to defend myself. There's nothing wrong with using the e-brake, all the pros do it, Ken Nomura, Keiichi Tsuchiya, Taniguchi, Kumakubo, Rod Millen, Ryan Hampton, the list goes on.
I mean, you don't want to get so dull by not using the e-brake that you end up just power sliding everywhere. If you notice in the video, I'm not even really on the throttle in half the slides.

IMO i think gt4 drifting is way........ easier, i can drift with the csl like it was nothing maybe i just got luck with my settings, but in gt3 i only got a good drift 1 out of 5 tries with the trueno
