i often get a hell of a lot of hate for the videos i post of me learning how to drift with my e30 in the rain or snow. but its mostly really funny to read so im posting again.
its almost impossible learning how to drift on public roads, on the north east coast, in the dry because of how loud it is. u cant try the same turn again and again because it draws attention. i wish i didnt have to drift in the street but i usually cant afford track time when its available, and out here events are rare so i do what i can as safe as possible and alone. finally i got a chance to try the same 2 corners again and again in the dry. this NEVER happens
5/28/14 a drift event was held at an oval track called Holland Speedway. it was a $40 entry and went from 6-sun down on a wednesday night. i didnt make it there until 7pm but still had a great time. it was kinda cool focusing on one turn and learning what to do when initiating on a bank. i never thought the m20 could really slide through 3rd gear but hey, if damn ae86's can do it, why not. inertia!!
