I may just try it out and see how it is. They all look so similar, and most are prob made in china or hong kong anyway.

I found one that looks the same on ebay as both posted for $17 shipped. Wonder what that one would be like.

Great price, that one looks to be the same too. Only difference is it being shipped from Hong Kong, so the delivery time could be longer.

Not really, most of these cameras are meant to CYA so they run 100% of the time your car is running to capture any incidents that may happen. They should loop and record over old data as they fill up, because you're only really going to use these in case of an accident.
