egk, that picture doesnt do the US plate filler justice.

US filler would look TITS with the m-tech

Here's mine, obviously early. Love how it looks, but it doesn't quite have the same effect as the late one you guys have.

+1 I thought that piece was a sh*tty gloss paint job on it.

But definitely get the euro :)

The only place I could find it was the dealer or BMA. On realOEM they list it under the late cabrios, 92-93. Most dealerships sucks at finding rare parts. The US one is 1/2 the price of the euro one.

I think the early model one is better looking that the late model, but I think the entire rear-end of the early model is better looking, so I'm biased. :D

I'm picking one up soon. I know it won't be very noticeable on a black car, but I'm mainly getting it to hide a very light crease in the metal to the left of my license plate, where it looks like something heavy in the trunk smacked into the license plate area.

does anybody have a picture of a U.S. plate filler on an early model? I'm liking the looks of the Euro, but since I'm going to be sporting a U.S. plate, I think I'd rather just get the appropriate U.S. filler.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe they made a US filler that was similar to the US Late Model filler.

Correct. I have been going round and round with parts guys on this. Early models only have one option. Late models only had the euro filler option. The appropriate US filler is only even listed for 92+ carbrios, but obviously fits any late model. Strangely RealOEM lists a filler for 88-91 sedans, but if you look, it is in fact the early model part number. I ordered one to be sure. SO there are in fact 3 total. 1 early model, and 2 late model (1 US, 1 Euro)

So, the only option for an early model is to get a Euro filler? Just want to make sure I read that right.

Anyone know the oem part # for US filler? The realoem.com link above looks to be for the euro filler.
