i don't even have money for wheels, infact my car isn't even running but whatever i was looking and i found these bbs rg-r's in gold with a silver lip. I am not sure if they are availabe for our cars but if someone wants to photoshop them onto my car i'd like to see what it looks like.

kill the red calipers... lower it a bit more (at least the front).... anddd get some amber/gold/yellow somewhere else (to balence the color a bit) and those wheels will PROBABLY look reallllllly good.

i see i have a five lug swap and big brakes now lol....yellow calipers dont look so hot with gold. They look small but i like them. I"ve narrowed my next set of wheels down to rg-r's, bbs RC's, or SSR comps.

I don't dig the gold, but anything is better than the wheels you have now. I don't blame you, because weren't they on the car when you bought it?

Sell those things to some honda drivers and get some attractive ones. Maybe just trade them for a more era-correct wheel or one that isn't as rice....

I like the car, and the kit looks pretty good. Better wheels would definately improve it.

eh just experimenting with diff wheels, my head gasket is shot so i need to fix my engine via a stroker before i can get wheels. right now the 15 inch weaves are on the car. I bought the wheels when i was 16, i still like them, but i like other wheels much better. I cant complain they've held up well. I think new, lighter wheels and some custom skirts will really make a different but its a long way off.

As for lowering it more...its not going anywhere until i can figure out GC for ix's.

Gold wheels with a silver lip...looks like a cheap watch. My girl was contemplating getting those but settled on some BBS RGR's. :twisted:

those are rg-r's they are just gold. the regular satin black or whatever its called would most definetely look better. Since my car is heavy i might spring for comps, every lbs helps, and i think they are about 13 lbs for 17's. Although you can't beat the quality of bbs wheels. Its a ways off anyway. I wish they made the comps in more sizes i'd like a bit wider than a 7 inch rim.

Hey man, I notice your up in Gettysburg. Any chance you'll have that car ready to go by end of april? I'm trying to set up an e30 with a few other guys in the frederick area. I'd love to see that car up close and I'm sure the other guys would be more than happy to have you show up.

Im not the biggest fan of the gold wheels with the black and your car has a lot of black which is awesome. I say go for the silver bbs. But hey, its all about what you like!

end of april might be a stretch, we'll have to see how the money goes. I am ordering pistons this week coming up, and i have to order all the shit to fix my head also.

If i can't bring my car, i'll bring our mtech cabrio. if you organize something and i am free i'd love to come.

i like the dark centers of the ssr comps. I like the dark look of the rg-r's and i like the polished RC's. They are all light, and expensive lol. i am not really diggin the gold either. I just wanted to see what it would look like.
