I'm liking the black bottom, but i know that all read around the bottom would look good as well.

I've actually got some oem shadowline trim and some never mounted/never painted iS skirts.

I've been thinking about getting my front lip body colour as well as the rear apron bottom area. And then painting the skirts body colour to match.

But I like the red/black combo too now. It'll also save me money

how about black mirrors. I realize the image was dark to begin with, but can you black out the side mirrors? :D

                    thanks for the input.

i guess too much black would make the car look "basemodel-esque". Ill eventually need to get my mirror resprayed though, they've faded to a cloudy pink.

Keep your lip black, and if/when you get the skirts, keep them black as well. It will continue the line of black along the bottom created by the black lip and black lower section of the rear valence.

If you do the side skirts red, then aesthetically, you've got to do the lip and the bottom of the rear apron as well, or at least the front lip, otherwise you're totally ruining the line of contrast. With just the red skirts, your car will appear to be lower in the middle than at each end. But this is all just my opinion. I'm an artist, so aesthetics are very important to me.

I fully agree, thats what i meant when i said saving money by leaving the skirts black and not changeing the iS lip and rear apron.

I would still paint them, just use SEM trim paint.
