    its winter time.....icecross video

now that the snow is about to fly, i thought i would share some "icecross" fun from a few years ago.

for those in the southern states, icecross is ..... well...... an autocross held on a frozen lake.

    enjoy

That looks awesome. I would love to try that out just to have some fun and see what it really is like. Has there ever been a time that a car went through the ice? What is the average speed that cars travel in an event?

You should see the ice racers from minnesota. Lakes you can't even see across and there rippin them up. Not many e30 out on the ice though we are weary of the salt... I took mine out one, it was a blast.

I love it when a car would hit the brakes and all the wheels would lock up and stop rolling but the car would just keep gliding along.

Sometimes I am really sorry I live in TX.

From my point of view thats odd... frozen lake bed, strong enogh to support a car, but no snow... wish I was there :) God I hate snow.
