CONTEST - Design the all new E30

Ok, guys, this is going to be tough, let's desing a "New" E30, let's do what ford did with the mustang.

This is going to put a test to everyone's photoshop habilities, think of a car that will not loose the e30 tradition, that will look modern, up to date, sleek and you can always say "It's the real thing".

We'll have a poll and the winner gets sent to BMW and who knows ????

Why redesign the e30? The reason why it is still so popular, 23 years after the first one rolled out the assembly line and 15 years after the last one, is because the design is timeless and certainly not outdated. In between an e30 and an e90, my heart goes to the e30.

Mine too, but sometimes, when you get a lot of enthusiasts and ask them about something, some improvements can appear.

Or are you guys goint to tell me that each one of you has his E30's just like they came from the factory ??

I browse through the pics and everybody has modified his/her car in one way or the other, so I don't find too many purists here.

But anyway, it was just an idea.

Not to mention how many people would actually be able to do it.
I know not a lot of people here can use PShop, and fewer are any
good at it. After all it is a BMW forum, not an art forum.

I'd personally love to see a few chops, but i don't see it happening, it takes too much skill and time.

haha, don't sweat it. i've had some dumb-ass threads. There are really not many photoshop experts on this forum. Try bimmerforums for something like that.

If you want wheels put on or a different color paint, then this is the place to post.

Don't think I haven't thought of what BMW will do with a retro-e30 bodystyle, because I have and I am actually all for it.
