      The First Sketch

If you had sent in the very first picture to BMW before they were set in their ways on the 1 series I'd be buying one sooner. Actually I might wait for the M1 before I buy my first brand new bmw. Rumors include resurrected S14 wannabe motors.

Ummmuhg Mmmmm Skyline how I love thee. I was thinking what a bad ass malado GTR/M would look like. Now lets all close our eyes and imagine a supercharged LS1 under the hood putting out 650 ponies to... hmm, all four wheels?!
Thats it I gotta go change my pants (all 3!)

why would you put a LS1 in a Skyline when you can already get close to 1,000hp out of the engine already in it?

No, I am talking about putting an LS1 in this fictional Bimmer picture that this dude is working on not in a skyline. And actualy there is a growing minority of JDM strip and track Skylines that opt for the 300z or 350z V6 instead of the stock I-6.

              ... why? RB26DETT is a beast...

Same w/the other big two, the SR20DET and the 2JZ-GTE... they're all three almost bulletproof... guys throw 1000rwhp on stock 2JZ bottom ends in some cars.

                Two words, weight distribution.
                One word, torque.

Looks sweet, but I like the lines of the first sketch better... Any plans to finish that version?

Or just weight distribution. The shorter V engines would move the weight back but I6 is a torque monster, its why its popular with hard-core turbos.

The rendering is a bit busy for my taste, but maybe I am not the target market for modern cars.

Domestic + Import = BAD! BAD! BAD!

Off topic, but i've seen a Nissan Silvia with a Nissan Infinity V8 under the hood...
