I saw this off-duty cop total a viper at an outdoor car show. The owner of the viper was actually showing his '70 Baracuda and using his viper as a daily driver. Anyhow the cop who was working security that day was admiring the viper so the owner let him take it for a spin. And that's what he literally did. He drove it around the parking lot and then he decided to show of so he drove it up the street at full throttle, made a U-Turn and the car would not stop turning. He ended up crashing into 2 other cars and hitting the jersey wall in a matter of 10 seconds.

I think I would need speeding ticket immunity for the rest of my life if that was my car.

I bet ya earlier that day, getting into his car, he was bitching about the harnesses being in the way and uncomfortbale and how that other safety equipment wasn't necessary because he wasn't going to crash his awesome ass viper. Well..I would probably bet it saved him a couple injuires.
Nice video, kinda wakes you up about safety equipment in cars.

The one thing I think about is the guy with the e30 on here that has the bar come right down almost in front of his knee...he'd be needing a new knee after that one.
