ok so i stopped by the print shop and here are the details

A1 poster size (23.2" X 33.0") $22USD, matt finish, 120 gram paper. very nice.

So M42Technik can you resize the image to roughly 24x33 in 300 DPI? I will need the file in either a PSD or a JPEG.

If anyone is serious about them, please let me know, so I know how many to make.

Since the weight will be less than 2lbs for the poster and the packaging, I think shipping to the states from on base will be about $3-5 USD. And the packagin material Ill have to buy, im not sure how much it is. I will look into how much total will be including the packing tube thing, and let you guys know the exact total for everything tomorrow.:hitler:

Dayum, that is going to be a HUGE file for sure, but I'll figure a way to get it to you.

Anyways, which picture exactly, did you decide on a design that you were happy with? Let me know which one, I can get it done this weekend for sure.

Sorry dude, was away for the weekend. I can resize it to any size without losing its original resoultion with Illustrator, thats what its for! What size you want it is up to you. I can blow it up HUGE.

This my friend - is a very BAD idea....This poster is going to look like ass if you've scaned it from a mag, as a tiny image, and plan on blowing it up poster size. Unless there is something you not telling us - it's going to look very pixelated.
