use the select tool and start on the ground the car is sitting on
then follow the bottom of the bumper and up under the fender under the rocker panel, etc. and end on the ground on the other side of the car
the go to SELECT > INVERSE then choose the arrow tool and just use your arrow keys to move the car down
Free Transform if you have to to get the angle right -
What I normally do is create a duplicate of the original layer. Then I will "turn off" the original layer (by clicking the eye to make it invisable) and then on the duplicate, I will erase everything below the bumpers and then follow the car all the way around the wheel wells and fenders. I will then erase the rest of the bottom half of the photo at the same height of where I began to erase around the bumpers. Then I will make the original layer visable again and then select the duplicate. Now I am looking at both layers but I can drag the duplicate layer down and it would appear that I am dropping the car down.Comment

What i do is cut the bottom part and part of the wheels and then move it upwards. I'm attaching 4 images so you can see the process.
I use photo paint though, but in photoshop you would do this in different layers
Then i use the blur or the clone tool to correct problems in the fendersComment

ok im getting the hang of it, i was using the wronge tool. i have to use the "lasso" tool vs. the "magic selection brush". its coming good now i just gotta make it blend betterComment

Some times the lass tool won't work well, you'll have to use the scissors and do it by hand, also, there is a tool that is made for blending edges that you can use to solve the cuts in he image, also there is a smudge tool, and sometimes you can create a mask on the area and blur it.
You'll ge thte hang of it, it takes a little practise.
Post some of your trials so we can look at them and tell you what's wrong with them. ;)
And remeber... Nobody is perfect and nobody knows it all, you can teach a lot too...Comment
