My first professional website: new Mustangs, tuning shop

I just got this thing pretty much wrapped up. It's my first pro job... I know it's not full of flash and crazy stuff like that, just the basics. It's how the owner wanted it. Simple, no shopping cart, no online ordering, just an info site really.

So, whatta ya think? Is the internetsez ready for Modular Motorsport? Comments/Flaming/Nutswinging welcome.

    Thanks for peeking in.

EDIT: by the way, this site is 100% from scratch... all the graphics, car shots, etc. are all my original stuff.

why doesn't anyone use frames anymore? seems so logical to keep your navbar in a static frame and only reload the content frame instead of the whole page.

I guess with broadband its a non-issue. Back when I was into that whole web design scene (1994 or so) frames were the schiznit.

I guess CSS and javascript killed that level of coding pure, simple, clean html

          Nice site btw.

edit:clavin, your coding is nice and easy to read. Did you do that yourself or with software? I'm old and programmed in all sorts of non-object based programs like visual basic, c, a little assembler, and one rainy day delved into perl. It's all new to me, and I feel out of touch with the new technologies.

Asked a question and answered it in the same post. Thank god frames died out with rows of a dozen of the same animated gif.

LOLz at you guys and frames (I used to love frames). I used dreamweaver and a bit of manual coding together. Thanks for the comments guys.

                Great site mang.
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

i think you need more info or pics of the shop. it seems like the guy is operating it out of his mom's basement. plus he should have a list of performance services offered, not just a bunch of links to other peoples sites.

                            very true...

This site is still inder construction and the HISTORY (soon to be ABOUT US) page is being developed right now which includes:
                            -services/equipment offered/used at the shop
-brief explanation of certifications and skills
-details of 2 race cars (one drag, one road course)

His shop right now is actually already a fully legit smog and auto repair shop... this is just his side project. The aim is to NOT be a basement drop-shipper, but an installer and tuner for high quality stuff.

Hopefully the links serve as just a "look at what we can get you" kind of thing.

THANK YOU for this kind of input/comments.
