Why are we having to wait

Sounds good, looks good but needs a diet. Future replacement for the E30. Now it only needs to come here in the 33k range and it will sell very well.

Looks like the wait won't be much longer. Found this in my in-box this morning:

    Dear Emre,

As promised, I am keeping you posted when the official color brochure for the BMW 1 Series was released for the US market.

So, on a Sunday night in New Jersey I'm sending you this email to tell you about the news and how to get a copy.

We are getting ready in New Jersey to start ordering cars for our NJ customers. The excitement is building and if you live in New Jersey, give Carolyn Lizzi-Noce a call to get on our preorder list. 732-440-1200.

See the PDF Brochure in Full Color

Follow the article link below to download the just released BMW 1 Series brochure. It has many of the details you have been asking about and you can save it to your computer without ads!!.

Can I ask our newsletter members a favor?

Can you click on the link at the bottom of the newsletter and "update your profile" to include the State you live in. We have thousands of people that are coming to us for information on the BMW 1 Series and we love to help you. Unfortunately, there will be a limited supply of 128i and 135i cars on hand when first released.

So, if you update your contact information with your State, we can know who is local to New Jersey and who we can send invitations to our 1 Series release events.

Your time is well appreciated and we promise to provide you with great information and no third party ads!

You can forward this email to friends using the link at the bottom of this email. I hope you enjoy being part of the 1 Series revolution!

Sounds like they're already taking advance orders. So, I guess it's not too far off.

Hopefully around the time the facelift model comes out I'll be able to afford one as a daily. :)

It just took to long to hit our market, Some of their marketing reps need to get out of their cubicles and listen to what the market wants.

This car has been needed for quite sometime to fill the gap between Mini's and 3 series. 47k for a 335i is nuts.
