    Pshop Question

I just got photoshop the other day and I am having a problem. I am trying to change the wheels on a car so I copied a pic of the wheels I want from the web and pasted it onto a new layer. When I paste it though, it makes the pic so small and compressed that it gets all pixelated when I try to make it bigger. Am I missing something or is there another way to do this? Thanks.

You need either a higher resolution pic of the wheels, or a lower resolution pic of the car. Or just resize the pic of the car to fit the wheels...
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

The pic of the car is the 135i that eurotuner gives for its pshop competition, so I want it as high a resolution as possible. The wheel I want is the alpina z8 wheel and I cant find any pics of the car in high res. At least I know what is wrong now, thanks.

The problem with photoshopping like that is that two pictures are never sized exactly right. Even then, one might be sharper than the other. The best you can do is to degrade the quality of the better picture. So your picture effectively is as crappy as the worst pic.

Also, like on your sig, the picture of the car is blurrier than the wheels. My suggestion is to take the blur tool (looks like a rain drop) and blur the layers with the rims a bit until it looks just like the rest of the pic. Hope this helps!

        Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

The wheels on my car are real, the brakes are whats fake. I made that pic in ms paint. Thanks for the suggestions, but I want the best quality pic possible. I will just keep looking for a high res of the z8.

I got the wheels to work, so on to the next question. I want to make the plate say E87 FTW, but I cant get the type tool to write it correctly. It either makes it the wrong color or types it upside down or backwards. Should I just use the line tool and make it look as good as possible?
