I know the reason for that wing is because that was the american engineering solution for wanting to have a spoiler mounted on the 1/4 panels and a trunk that's still able to fully open. :p

Thats a super bird that kicked tons of ass in NASCAR... Big engine and some "aero" seemed to help.

        1970 Plymouth RoadRunner Superbird

That car is easily in the $100k+ range and even higher if it is 426 Hemi powered. Rare car indeed and fast as shit.

As a matter a fact that car is listed on EBAY right now... Or one just like it

That big spoiler helps smooth the air that is tumbled from the vinyl roof... :)

It's still a sweet-assed car, and looks pretty clean.

yeah good luck with having one... theyd be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars category at least.....sometimes unrestored....if i remember correctly the made the exact amount that nascar called for production wise for it to be considered a stock car....my fav american muscle was always the dodge charger daytona.... her sister ship lol...i wouldnt mind it in 426 hemi or 440 magnum... i know im not a picky guy at all ;-)

That car didn't come from LaVale,MD did it? Edit that. The one in the picture has bucket seats, where the one in MD had a bench seat.

But anyway, they are awesome cars. Only got to ride in one. And it had a mild 440 with an automatic.

You can make a clone one of these. And i think they make the parts there in TX. For the Superbird, you got to use the 1970 Dodge Coronet front fenders and hood. The hood has to be trimed and a filler piece added along with the bottom of the fenders. I forget what has to be used for the back window.

For the Daytona Charger, 69 Charger body of coarse. 1970 Charger front fenders and hood along with a filler piece for the bottom of the fenders. The back window has to be made like a 68-69 Charger 500's. A back window from a hatch back Vega is very close to the samething as the 500's window.

Those and Daytona's and Superbirds go for so much money, One could buy a median priced home and a four car garage full of e30's with money left to burn. IIRC a Daytona went for 2.2mil in the last 3 years or so.
