sometimes i wish i was as over ANALytical as some on this forum. i had to go back and actually look for all the little things that were picked out on here. my laptop monitor must suck cause i dont see 2 colors of white, i see the cosmoline and mismatched under hood paint. but alls i see as far as hood liner is the adhesive/residue from the liner being pulled off.
as far as the opinion of jordan goes, ive never met the guy. ive seen his posts, most dont impress me. but im a believer that if you run your mouth on here, you better be able to back it up in person!
You can't tell the color difference in person. The car looks awesome - far better than 90% on this board (if not more). Jordan is a great guy in person and helps me with all kinds of stuff - usually without me asking.
"We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."
You know he started R3V, right? There's a lot more to the story than getting banned. Even if it's from a site you created.
Regardless of the "two tone" MTech2 (which the camera probably makes worse than in person) his car is well done, just like his last E30. Don't forget the OBD1 S52 he's got stuffed in there as well.
He brings a lot of it on himself, but Jordan is the E30 guy people love to hate. Ironically, he's also the first person many people think of asking for help when they have an issue they can't figure out.
Tim
I look at my bentely.
Then I tap Blunt on the head. When he looks up at me I ask him to swallow then give me the answer and get back to work. if anyone has any e30 questions I am sure Blunt can answer them. Pm me with your questions.
I like Jordos car btw. Seems to me that it is a work in progress, much like my e30 or pretty much everyone's on here.
Yeah, Jordo can be a real dick on the keyboard, and usually is.
On the other hand, he is one of the kindest, most helpful people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. He is not at all brash, harsh, or even tactless in person. I really like the guy, he helped me many times when I was an E30 newb, just like I helped him when he wanted an alarm and sub box.
Yes, I am one of the very few people alive that actually worked on Jordans car...he watched me like a hawk, but never once contested my ability or craftsmanship.
So yeah, Jordan Sarette. Great guy, unless he has a keyboard.
Luke
Perfectly said. I'll agree with everyone that Jordan is most of the time an utter douchebag on the forums. But like Luke said, he's a great guy in person. I flick him shit here on the boards, and he knows it, as he's always done to me, but I'll always be in his corner when it comes to defending him as a friend. He just needs adult supervison when he's on a computer. :D

That's not that impressive. It doesn't take much "stuffing" to get an s52 into an e30.
You guys are, if nothing else, predictable to a fault. I don't worry much about the overly critical remarks because I know they are fueled by nothing more than an urge to "get back".
As was so wisely stated by numerous members without an agenda to front, the car is a work in progress. I've owned it for nearly 8 months. I've completed quite a lot of projects, all the while maintaining the car as a full time every single day daily driver.
The paint is 2 tone, its been brought up by me long before any of the asshats forgot and thought there were just now noticing. Alpinewhite II fades to a dingy yellow, and thats common knowledge. I mean hell.. the car was flat white when I bought it because the paint was oxidized so badly. The entire car, M-Technic II bits inclusive, we get completely repainted in due time... its just not even remotely important to me as the car is above all else.. a daily driver. As for the hood liner what is left is just the contact cement the factory installed it with. It will get covered up with a new liner when I feel like wasting money on such a silly item.
As I said.. 8 short months, all the while keeping it a daily driver.
I think the car looks hot, and Jordan is a great guy in person. The car is extremely clean. I had to look twice to find all the nitpicks you guys are picking up.
