Thank you, at least SOMEONE gets what I'm saying...

The tranny mount... Ya that got me scared to but my buddy has a mig welder so were going to be fabricating one. Most likely were going to extend the bracket originally used for the (i) chassis.

As for the rear subframe, i think its the same for the i. i mean i did bolt up the rear diff from my ix to my convertible.

Hahahaha.. an e30 convertible with 3.91 Pazi Traction..

actually, I'm curious - does the RWD subframe bolt up to the ix frame? I'm also wondering what you'll do for the rear tranny x brace, although you pretty much need a customized one for the ZF tranny anyway.
    AWSOME... I GOT YOU THINKING...

the subframe thats mounted on the ix sits more forward than the one for the i... when i placed the (i) subframe on to the car i noticed the control arms could not be mounted it was shorter. I then looked at the chassis it self and realized there were 2 bolt patterns on it. One was for the ix subframe and the other for the i. I was pretty amazed and lucky because i would have been screwed. (which I'm guessing you guys hoped it would happen.. lol) any ways.. i used the ix shock mounts because the bolt pattern is much larger, i struts, ix H&R springs, bilstien Sports for i struts. car sits perfect and straight

another item i have to purchase is a larger sway bar.. but that shouldn't be a problem.
