I was up at my family's cottage on an island on the Sheepscot River in Maine and took a few pictures. Just some levels and color adjustment on these pictures. Can someone instruct me on how to put borders on these bastards in Pshop?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

heres a quick way to add a plain border. Sorry for the ghettoness, but i have been away on business, and am doing this on my janky laptop. ps: i was TDY to "Rangley" Maine for 2 weeks, and i loved every second"
step 1: select "Canvas Size" under "Image"
step 2: Select pixels, and choose a size for your border, also select a color, and make sure the relative box is checked. click ok
step 4: preview image
step 5: done
only problem with that is photobucket limits your resolution to the resolution above,800x533, and these pics are 3072x2048
thanks AD
anytime, you can also download or create some really nice borders to add to images in PS, but i am working from my laptop and don't have them with me, so maybe i'll throw those up when i get back home, all i have on my laptop is plain jane PS.
I am from Maine, I grew up in Orono right next to Bangor.
The way I do my boarders are this way. Square brushes select width, hold at corner, press down then press shift (makes the line perfectly straight) then go across on all sides. Here is an example.
lol, i lived all over maine, cutler/harpswell/machias port and brunswick. great place but it would whoop anyones ass wanting to have a dropped e30 no doubt. lets just say my moms 4x4 yukon got stuck in our driveway in cutler and had to get town out by a fire truck...twice in the same day
Awesome! I'm heading up to Acadia tomorrow, actually. After these photos, I'm actually looking forward to it.
About border, simply select all (ctrl+A) and go to selection>modify selection>border. It lets you put in a border width, and gives you a selection of the proper size. Then, grab your painbucket and fill in with whatever color you want.
