I'm in the midst of converting to small bumpers and thinking about a trailer hitch so I can tow a track trailer or small sailboat. The only ones I can find are the fixed tongue style, you know... the kind where the tounge is always mounted and you'll knock the hell out of your shins on it. Not sure about how it would look on an e30 though. Anyone got any pics?

The cirrus blau car with the hitch is mine. I don't know if this will help you, but its pretty sturdy and I have towed a boat before I lowered the car :D

A factory hitch kit? For plastic bumpered cars? I talked to a trailer hitch guy yesterday and he said he'd make me pretty much whatever I want for 200.00. I might go with that.1987 325is - sold
