Hey curt i didnt know you had smoked ones. What did you use for yours? Mine was model masters translucent black.

DO NOT use film on your tails. I will personally come to VA and be sure that your balls are removed.

I read somewhere about a guy that bought tinted film and just put that on the tails. Anybody have experience with this stuff? I really like the amount of tint that Uber E30 has on his tails, thats pretty much what I'm aiming for.

Thats the website that sells it. I watched a video of it being applied and wasn't TOO impressed but it didn't look terrible either.

^thats what I figured. Where can I pick up a rattle can of transparent black. Any recommended brands?

and yes tint the 'white' section too... or else it will stick out like a sore thumb and look stupid

Hmm, so I would tape off everything but the amber, give it three coats of red (on the inside or outside?) and then go over the whole thing with the white taped off in black? You don't think I should maybe give the white one coat of black?

GO RED, then black. It looks like "eh" if you don't. So do like 3 coats on the amber and go over the full thing, leave the white bit completely white though. then go over all the red with a slight shade and it looks just great. especially on dark gray cars.

Thanks for the help 32.5i, looks good but I think if I did it I might go darker, judging on how that looks.
What do you think? Think it would look worse darker? I guess it depends on the person too really..
