Negative on the bumpers, sorry.
I still have door cards all around. They are only a few ounces.
Back seat was about 10# if I recall, the real gain in the rear was the speakers and seat belts.
wait no edit that. once i finish fixing my oil cooler and i go out on the backroads i'll make sure to get videos for you. that way you can watch and take notes
what were you doing drifting at an autox event? don't you guys have like real tracks you can go to like we do? for actual events.....i really wouldn't even act like this if you didn't come off as so much of a tool.

Lighter = faster/better handling/more control
It's widely known, you don't see any race cars with a full interior do you? (seems silly to even have to ask someone that)
So, regarding that last statement, your car is a race car then? The lol van just stopped by my house, I'm going to hop in.- Trey

Sorry mines not a race car, do you guys comprehend sentence structure? Where did I state my car was a race car?I was simply implying that cars that race, which are generally much faster then say, your car, have a lot of weight removed.

The autocross has an agreement with the drifters.
Yes we have real tracks, in fact, two of what I consider the best in the world. Laguna Seca and Sears Point, or Infinion if you are noob. I have driven both and Thunderhill many, many, many times.
Though you RARELY see a drift event on thier tracks, they are too worried about jacking up the surface and crashes. There is only one group who does "drift events", and they just slide on a little paved paddock at thunderhill, they setup two cones last time I went, for the money and the setup, it was lame. I like to slide interesting stuff like decreasing/increasing radius turns and the like. Not just around a single cone....
I'd be happy to take some notes, I am new to drifting, i've only been sliding for four months, and it's been an incredibly fun four months!

Is this why you have your ghetto bumpers? sold your nice bumpers and sold them so you could afford gas so you can go to your so called drift events and call yourself a drifter?

Sitting in on the drivers meetings for 3 days and then doing ride alongs with the professionals really teaches you a lot and makes one appreciate the sport. You realize there is more going on than just pitching your back end out (clipping points and such). Also there's a big difference going into a drift at over 80mph. Gotta say its one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had. I have video of some of the meetings and such but I wasn't an official videographer (photos and written word only) so I guess I'll keep those to myself. Nothing you probably couldn't get from official sources I'm sure.
A few friends of mine are trying for the big leagues, they say that most pro drifters have about 450hp, so for now, it's just a dream for me :(

$3500? I spent half that on my inspection II for the M3.
I have other toys that are much faster than an s50 e30. Besides, I really want a V8 e30, TQ is king. I think I could pull of an LS1 with heads and cam, tilton pedal cluster, and t56 for $4.5k. I just need to figure out headers. 450hp would be fun in an e30.
The 325is is a budget build, I waste big money on the actual nice/fast things I have. So far I'm about $3k into the 325is, including the purchase price, three oil pans, a 4.10LSD, new windshield, and three sets of tires. It's currently on coilovers, racing seat, full compliment of gauges, m30 afm, etc. Most of the stuff I just had laying around from the 10 e30's I previously owned.

$2500 for engine/tranny/ecu, $150 for e21 booster, $80 for mounts, $150 for driveshaft. You're right it's cheaper than that.
Yes I have an e30 m3, with Dinan suspension, Dinan 2.5L, BBS wheels, did I mention i'm the second owner? Many many many people know and love my car, try not to get too jealous.
