        Only two covers, the multi spokes were the early ones and the 5 spoke t stars were later, M system I and II to BMW. They were designed to use the Venturi effect to suck up air into the wheel weel to cool the brakes. System I supposedly works better but I like the style of the T Stars. Awesome wheels, the forged 17x8s are said to weigh about 18 pounds according to BMW. I think they lied cause the ones I have seem heavier.

          i weighed mine naked and it was 17lbs on my home scale.

          i believe the M1 uses the same wheel with a different cover as well.

            Cool, I will weigh the ones I have next time I get new tires.

            M1s came with 16 inch wheels.

                the fan disc thinge looked similar so i just assumed.

                so can you take the disc off the M1 wheels??? hmmm

                  The E31 850CSi also came with M-System II's, 17 x 8 front (10mm offset) and 17 x 9 rear (19mm offset).
