Video of the mad tyte JDM turbo car since my E30 is slow.

Just because I'm a glutton for punishment and I don't have anything new and exciting to share about the E30 (and even if there was...its an ETA...), here is a recent video of the miata.

~7lbs, pretty untuned, but drivable. Waiting for a boost solenoid to come it to crank up the boost. Finished her up a few weeks ago, but this is the first video I've been able to get.

Probably making ~140 wheel? Goal is 220rwhp on a mustang dyno once I get it tuned. Just something decently quick and reliable until I have a chance to build the spare motor I have.

Enjoy. Keep the gay jokes out, they are overplayed, but all other flaming is encouraged.

My dad has a new mx-5 and they are a blast to drive. The mx-5 looks awkward to me though, these are actually better looking at least. And a blast to drive.

It's just too bad you can't drive around with the top down with out recieving plenty of weird looks. I actually was driving my dads with the top down and some girls yelled waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless at me and my friend. hahah.

Good cars though, but I could never own one.

If I had to guess I'd say around there. The car makes 90 rwhp stock. It was running wastegate only, so about 7lbs on its TD04H-19T and VERY rich, like in the 10.5:1 range.

I fiddled with the fuel map the other day for several hours, remapped the car and got significantly more pull from 2nd/3rd. Probably 13.5:1 betwee 1-4, pulling back to ~11.5:1 5-7/8 psi.

Once I get the boost solenoid megasquirt will be able to control boost and I could probably hit 180-200 wheel without having to get on a dyno to play with the spark map.

          Thats good.

I didn't know Miata's were only 90 to the wheels.

          Do you have the 1.6?

Yup. 1.6L of cast iron fury. x.X

200+ wheel is a TON of fun in these things. I really can't wait to get a video of this thing tuned. Its a blast, its nice to have the E30 for DD'ing, but the miata is so much more fun to drive. As for the crap, people give you some WEIRD looks when the miata rolls by and blows off. Its like...lol wut?
