Is there a DIY you followed to wire up LED backlighting to your cluster? If not, please consider writing one, I'd love to see it.

I don't like how dim mine seems compared to my buddy's E46, so I've considered doing LED lighting to brighten it up a bit, but it seems very daunting.

Indeed, I assumed it was LEDs. I am really interested in doin this to mine as the lights are so damn dim -_- You should def do a FAQ or a even just a post of basics needed to do such shenanigans

That video reminds me of being in a video game car. It must be the tempo of the music and how frenetic it gets. I love the stop for the toll! It breaks up the action and is such a contrast in lighting to the rest of the footage.

Pretty long, and I'd suggest opening with a nice hard pull from a dead stop up to cruising speed. Basically break up the monotony of 4th->5th gear pulls and straights. Just a thought, cool video so far!

I started another build and someday maybe I'll finish it. I've been on tour too much to work on the car though so it will sit.

Thanks for the insight! I only had so much footage to work with so it was more an exercise in what I could do with limited resources and how I could fit the images to my music then making a good video. If I ever finish my new car I'll take some more footage and make another video...
