    Where to buy pads?

I gave my car a good once over yesterday, and found that my rear cailper/slider/something had been stuck for some time...

    Need new rear pads.

Ive got Hawk HP+ on the front, think the rears are CarboTech something-or-anothers.

Where do you guys shop for brake pads? Bought these new second hand, so i have no info.

Contact Danny Puskar at CaroTech (www.CTBrakes.com) for new pads.

The most likely candidate for that would be a sticking caliper piston, which would mean that it is time from caliper rebuilds or new calipers.

Other, less often seen, causes include a bad brake line, bad bias valve, or bad ABS unit.

There are lots of places to get brake pads. I tend to favor Bimmerworld, but Tire Rack, Zechausen Racing, etc., are other sources.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

My front passenger's side caliper is sticking, I thought it was the piston but upon disassembly the sliding pins appear to be the culprit, as their boots are torn and they gave me quite a hard time.

Bimmerworld's always been good to me. They have the full line of hawk pads in e30 fitments.

              thanks for the info guys!

i know what to do to address the uneven pad wear, but that doesnt help my outer drivers side pad gain any material :)

I just bought some Hawk pads from bimmerworld. They even changed my shipping from 3 days to ground because I'm two days away via ground anyway and it saves me some money. That was surely nice of them.

                      thanks guys!

88 for HP+ rears, vs 140 something for Carbotech AX6

Does anyone know which of the two is more agressive?
