I was on 195-60-14 worn out sumitomo's. good for drifting. bad for trying to stay on the track and turn fast times. if I can get a new starter put in this weekend, I'll probably do Homestead on new street tires.

I ran class BS. Should switch to STX I think. The fastest prepped cars (EVO, STI, E46M3, S2000, Vettes.) on slicks ran in the 53 second range. My best time was 62 sec. Well off the pace, but on weak street tires. And not the slowest, thank god. Had to represent the E30 crowd.

i hear u.. ur times are respectable..

was this your first time ever @ Auto-X?

seat time is essential.. u must remember also that most of those faster cars have also been driving that course for many many events...

It was my first autox. I have 4 point harness which helps. This car is 20 years old and I don't wring it out. I hear you. Some of those guys were in 30-50k for there rides. I was ok with the lap times on street tires. Missed every apex after the first turn. The car was fun.
