    Wrong place, wrong time!

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

Is video shot from a friend's Spec E30 at Barber MotorSports Park last weekend. I'm in the 96 car immediately in front of the camera car. Nobody did anything wrong, I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The impact seriously bent the trailing arm and wheel and destroyed the half shaft. Another friend located a trailing arm, which I picked up Saturday night and installed Sunday in time to make the afternoon race at 2:30.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

If the driver of the red car had locked it up when the car went loose to the left, maybe there would not have been an impact. Or maybe it would have just been less serious. Hard to say as the cars aren't that far apart.
