I'm 6'2", and have worn 40 inch waist in the past. I've had Forza 2s in both my 90 e30 and my 98 M3. I've driven both cars multiple times from Provo, Utah to races down in Vegas, which is a 5 hour drive at 80 miles per hour. I've never felt that the seats were terribly uncomfortable. They're not like stock seats, but I can't remember ever thinking to myself that the seats were worse than they should be. The only problem with the Forza 2's is that they don't tilt forward. If you have to carry tires in your rear seat, it can be difficult to get them in.
At the moment, my Forza 2s have been transplanted to my C5 Z06, not because they were my first choice for that car, but because coincidentally, they happen to be one of the few seats narrow enough to fit in a C5.
Race seat for a bigger guy.

Ive driven to San Diego and back with the Forza 2's and had no problems. I drive to and from LA about twice a month. FYI SD is about 300 miles from me and LA is about 85.
You will not be unsatisfied with the Forza 2. The only thing I dont like about them is the fact that they are bottom mount not side mount. So making a bracket for them was kinda difficult but I am very happy otherwise.
Oh and I dont mean to thread jack but does anyone know who makes bottom mounts for a corbeau seat? Mine is basically bolted to the floor with the exception of a few big washers for spacing.

Well i think i decided to go the cheaper route. i will get the fx1 or forza not sure whihc one for right now as I will mainly be doing local auto X and when i start going to the track I will put the corbeau into the passenger slot and get a nice seat for me, as the corbeau is still way lighter then stock and I want to have two seats in the car.
Only thing now to figure out if i should get the froza or FX1 as FX1 is fiberglass but forza uses a tube chassie so I figure for a cheap seat the tube chassie might be better as it is more in line with the price.Leave a comment:

I dunno how big is a 40 waist, but I've had some fairly big guys sit on my Buddy Club and they fit very nicely.
By very nicely I mean they fit right. No extra space to move around, with perfect support everywhere and huge leg bolsters.Leave a comment:

Jere is the dimension for forza wide
So the seat is 505mm instead of 415 which is quite a differenceLeave a comment:

will the buddy club fir someone with 40 inch waist, as I am unable to find the info anywhere.
I did notice people saying that standard size is for 32 inch waist so i figured the wide was for someone a little bigger as dimensions on the seat are way smaller then the forza or FX1 wide.Leave a comment:

So looks like the corbeau wide are the only seat on the budget that will fit me. I liked the buddy club seats but looks like their wide version would be too small as the standard version is for 32 in waist is there any issues fitting the fx1 wide in the e30?Leave a comment:
