    What exhaust?

Im done building my 327i and next up the exhaust setup..
Im leaving the oem headers for now and doing a 2.25 to 2.5 Y and was not shure to run a 2.5" straight pipe on the side of the car with a Dynomax Bullet race muffler.

Or is I should do a 2.5" complete exhaust to the back of the car with a magnaflow muffler.

Or the same as above(full exhaust) but do it all in 3"

Any of these will be without cat nor resonators...

Let me know what you guys think...

A Spec E30 exhaust is pretty much like what you are contemplating and works well. It is a two into one collector or 2.5" running back to a glasspack. We cut the down tubes 13" from the rear of the front cross member.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Loud, but really good, is how they sound. I'd say not at all suitable for a street car, but perfect for a track car. For a street car I'd replace the glasspack with a muffler, or better yet use an IE cat-back.
