          I run 225/45/15 hoosiers fwiw

          205's are much more plentiful since that's what spec miata and specE30 run.

          BTW, did you know that the 225/45/15 hoosier is .2" narrower than the 245/40/17 ;)
          I really dont know why anyone would want to run 17's on the track.
          245/40/17 for Street tire class Auto-X in our region is the main reason for sticking with 17s. And I like the look.

          I want run your exact setup for track work, but I need to get it running first before I start buying track rubber!
