you have to admit, that was one of the best courses ever :)

60 second course more appropriately run in 3rd gear!!

I'm running a 4.10 gear also... and I swear I wore the rev limiter out my first run. There was just no way to do that course without hitting third gear.

And that is true about body roll making for a dramatic picture. My pics look pretty boring. You'd never know it unless you were in the car, that I was rowing that boat. With the 4.10:1 diff, the 2nd gear runs out REAL fast. I had to run in revlimiter up to two turns, shift into third for the long back stretch, back down before the long sweeper near the end and back into third to cross the finish line. Literally a physical workout, lol. The event was plagued with trying to figure out the shift points and actually make the gears hook up. I'm on a new and tight shifter and its a world of difference to learn.
cam + higher redline. problem solved. ;)

wish I could get more than 1 e30 to show up at a time.. would be even better if they were semi competitive!

I hadn't notice before, but it looks like my front wheel might be off the ground in this picture. Probably just an optical-delusion.

The good thing about body roll is it makes for a more dramatic picture!

I am hosting some of the pictures now that the original host dumped.

Nice meeting you Kevin. Post up a link to this thread in the photoshop forum requesting a sig. Someone will make one for sure!

Will, it was nice meeting you Sunday. Glad to hear you do autoX on a regular basis - I was embarrased to have you running the same times as me when I had a pretty big tire advantage. That was the first time I've run with SCCA down at AMS; lots of fun. And thanks for letting me know about this forum. Now I just need someone to convert one of the pictures to a signature for me.

You guys should come over for the Birmingham Events. We have a large autocross area and 2 e30's (my brother and I) as well as a few e36, 46, etc. Its good fun! We autocross in the parking lot of the Birmingham Race Course (Dogtrack), so when your done you can go spend some money on the dogs/horses.

I'll pick the best and re-host
Ya, I was going to try to come see you also but the same happened. I should have just said hello when I saw you walk to your car and drive it over to the grid area.

I've never seen your car there before... I take it you don't do ARSCCA Solo often?
