    Tilton pedal box question

I'm thinking of buying a tilton pedal box. Specificaly, I want the 2 pedal overhung setup since I don't like the feel of floor mount pedals.

My question is about the gas pedal though. What should I use for the throttle?the stock pedal won't work since I am going to be moving the clutch and brake closer to the driver. I've searched and haven't found any good floor mounted gas pedals that I could use.
    Thanks
    Erik

Hi, this may not help you since I have a right hand drive E30 but I retained the standard accelerator pedal with my Tilton setup.

That doesn't look to bad. You obviously are going to have to fab up some kind of linkage. I was in the same boat but ultimately decided to retain the stock gas pedal.

Thanks for that link. Why did you decide to use your stock pedal rather than that one? What did you have to do to mount your stock gas pedal farther back?

Sorry, I meant I was in the same boat not because of the pedal placement but because I was also looking for an gas pedal setup. My Tilton pedals were firewall mount so that somewhat limited my front to back placement of the clutch/brake pedals. The stock gas pedal ended up being fine where it was with some modifications to the stock linkage.
