    i need to get a battery tie down for my e30... anyone know where to get one?

    Parts car or junkyard would be your best bet. The OEM part is fine.

          You can bolt to the plastic tray the battery sits in.

            any auto parts store will have a universal tie-down that will work.

                      Here's my E30 home brew mount. Take the fiberglass battery trey out and use J-hooks thru that and then make a top mount. This is a smaller AGM style battery in place of the stock unit.

                          Aha that's dope, I went to the drag strip in Bakerfield called Famoso and completely forgot to put my tie down back on and while they were expecting my car the inspector himself said to take off my belt and use that haha I got to race that day! :)
