That 540i sounded lovely on the track! The silver e30, is it a turbo'd M20??

The Phoenix Gold M3 is only making 250 odd kw to the rears ATM at 0.7bar but he's looking at boosting 1.2bar once he has sorted out the handling. He has the same widebody kit as the white M3 waiting.

The silver e30 is a m20 2.7 motor that is turboed. I think it made 440kw to the rears on 1.6 bar boost. On the track I think he's only running 0.8bar. Still has a full interior and sound system in the car.

The owner of the 540i says this car is not only quicker than his e60 M5 but lighter on fuel too!

Seems like the competition is hotting up. With the launch of the new BMW Cup South Africa on the 14th March. The guys are out testing.

Seems like I've got my work cut out for me. Both e46's and the white e36 328i ex Group N, now 328i turbo are going to be one of the many cars racing.
