After several years of part timing, finally back!

Picked up this week a 95' 318Ti with 119k on it. Previous owner (whom I have known for 15 years and have been around this car for 10) had it setup for DSP autox. An older owner who paid meticulous attention to detail and maintanence.
My brother and I are planning on codriving the car this season with THSCC <http://www.thscc.com/index.shtml> and will prob stay in DSP for now. Time to drive the car, get comfortable, learn and gain some experience.

What has been done in last 2 years:
    1. koni yellows
    2. H&R race springs
    3. H&R sway bars
    Done in the last year:
    1. Cooling system flush
    2. New WP and tstat
    3. New clutch/flywheel
    4. Used tranny w/26k
    5. Bav Auto Strut brace
    6. Rear strut brace
    6. A/C serviced
    7. brakes front and rear
    8. Redline fluid in tranny and rearend
    Car comes with:
    1. Stock 15" 325 mesh rims with R comps for autox
    2. 15" Borbets (not sure which ones) with like new Hankook RS2's
    3. Stock 15" 318Ti rims with Toyo's for street.
    4. Hidden hitch for trailer.

They are great balanced cars but they are slow as balls. Takes a lot of stupid moves to get a Ti out of shape...that is until you swap an S50/2/4 in there .

I wonder if a S50 would throw the great balancing off a bit?

yeah, I haven't driven a swapped one personally but there are two guys that run the same events as I do; one has a M50 swap and I think the other is an S50. Definitely makes it a little more of a handful (still fun), the short wheelbase doesn't help when you add significant power.

I think you'll have plenty of fun tossing the car around as it sits. I'm sure the previous owner can give you the inside scoop on getting the most out of the car.
