    Kevin,

How's the car? What kind of damage did you have? I have some red fenders if you need one.

      Oh God..

I hadn't thought about that in forever! Told you you should have called.. I've got a big week ahead, but I would like to get that thing done and behind me. I feel like crap now that I'm reminded of it. I'll be around work late on Thursday and Friday for sure. I'll see if I get a chance Monday or Tuesday afternoon. (it's not like it takes long..)

I love car people. 5-10% are douchey jerks and the rest are extremely gracious people who will go out of thir way to do what they can for you.

Haha, we refer to them as "the clique" around here. There is always that group that keeps to themselves and has a certain "attitude" about them. They also treat the DE environment as a competition..

Ususally at the track, everyone has thrashed to get there. Watching someone go out because of a mechanical sucks, because you know how much they probably prepared to come out there and lay it all on the line.

I'm always more than willing to help out. I know how much it would suck if that were me and I had to go home. This sport is expensive, yo!

Wow glad to hear all these stories. I'm planning to start my track//autox days soon once I get my suspension done. Can't wait to get in on the action! I'll definitely be sure to maintain that helpful attitude even though there's probably not much I can help with other than follow directions haha.

It never ceases to amaze me the great people I meet at the track. After all we are all car nuts.

My car had an idle air control valve go bad at Road America which precluded me from finishing the track weekend nor could I drive home to St. Louis. A fellow track rat, also from St. Louis, tossed my car in their trailer and allowed me to driver theirs home. Still VERY thankful to this day.
