    New fuel hose source

I'm planning to replace some rubber fuel lines; they're old and cracked. I'm planning to put in a fuel accumulator at some point as well, so I'd like to have a few extra yards of tubing for that project as well as to have some "just in case".

A lot of the places I'm seeing online only sell prefabbed lengths of hose and I vaguely remember reading these cars can reach higher than normal pressure for injection systems (70+ lbs), but I may be mistaken.

    Two questions:
    1. Do I need special (higher than normal) fuel injection hose or will regular stuff work?
    2. Sources/recommendations/links for about 15+ feet of hose?

Fuel pressure for an M20 is 3 bar. M50 is 3.5. I just used OEM stuff, but even at the price I got it at, it was a bit pricey.

You need 5/16" hose rated for fuel injection service.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Alright, thanks for the responses. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Blunt, I quickly scrolled through your site but I didn't see any fuel lines. Let me know what it'll cost for 15 feet sent to 92116. Thx.

Yep, make sure to get fuel injection hose...carb hose will swell over time and you'll start to smell gas..

The OEM stuff isn't cheap - but it's good piece of mind. I used it on my M30 swap. I'm sure they are other good hose out there - I just didn't want to be a guinea pig.

FI hose even from Kragen/Autozone is not cheap anyway...so might as well buy the oem stuff....and it will be the right size.
