    Auto-X pictures

    Here are some non-action pictures from the Auto-X this Saturday with the SCCA. These pictures are just of the group of friends of mine that attended. The Brent's 98 GT convertible, Cam's 94 Cobra, my 325ic, David's 325is, Adam's MB 300 turbo diesel, and Richard's Miata. I don't have the action shots yet. I can get those up soon though. It was a ton of fun until it was cancelled due to the weather.

      Yea, actually the weather was nearly perfect for the first two groups out of four to run. Then out of nowhere dark clouds surrounded the area and started to pour. They didn't want to risk ruining the equipment so they called it off. David and I were lucky to get all of our runs in because we were in Groups 1 and 2. The others are gettting a refund or credit towards another event.

          Well darn . . . You guys got rain and I was in the snow in Ohio.

          Are you all going to Greer on the 19th? I'm planning on being there.

            I hope to go, though I won't run my car in it. I've been needing to put it up for sale and I think this weekend I'm going to really clean it up and put it out locally. If you know anyone who wants one let me know.

              They let you run without a roll bar?

                Yeah, they weren't very strict at this one, though I saw a few verts with rollbars. I'd recommend it though, much safer and rigid.

                  Any of you guys have any experience w/ the setups at Laurinburg airport? Any pics or advice, or anyone going there for the thscc novice school and autox?

                        Wussies.. we have to run in the rain. Worse than that I always have to stand in the mud working a corner in the rain.
