    HPDE brake pads

I'm going to sign up for a May HPDE with NASA as soon as my car is tech'ed the 26th, and I am wondering if PBR ceramics will work for my first time out, or if I should go with Hawk HP+. (and I could switch back) Because right now my spring rates are decent and I'd like a decent street pad for now.

    So what would you say?

And how likely would it be to warp rotors at an event? (probably not first) But I ordered new rotors all around just to save trouble and be sure all shit is good, but could turn the front ones and use those just in case (?)

PBR ceramics aka Axxis Ultimates should be fine as long as you run them on a new flush of ATE Super Blue fluid (or equivalent)

They should be allright for your first couple of schools, putnam isn't too hard on brakes.

I still vote for HP+'s though.

What if I got a set of HP+'s on the way, as well as a used set to test out during Auto-X runs...... That way I can give them a shot and compare them to the Axxiss Ultimates and if I like them, can have my new set for down the road.

Probably once at Putnam and possibly a second run at Putnam at MidOhio. And I wanted to know if I can just stick with my PBR Ceramics / Axxiss Ultimates for those first two events. (All new rotors and PBR Ceramics around are being shipped currently)

Next year, if things progress I'll be on 475/625s and squeky brakes daily.
