just a couple hours of work. I'm probably going to do it only a few times a year. I'm prettused to several houtr of prep time on my motorcycle to make it track friendly. If i had the space and time to have street and track toys i would. I might just buy a shifter cart and leave the e30 as a fast daily.

hehe, i was seriously just about to post ^^^^That picture.

The install is super easy when you do it in the engine bay. I just bought a pre-flared metric brake line from autozone, rented a flare tool from NAPA and made the flares for the bias valve.

I have the wilwood unit on my car. Just took off the rear valve and stuck the wilwood unit at very same location. This way you don't need to fab brake lines.

The knob will be difficult to see, but can still be reached from top.

Just make sure you get the metric thread ones

There are some great experience being shared in this thread. Just don't forget to remove the original fixed bias valve.

A 1/8npt thread can easily be rethreaded to M10 x 1 with great results if the line's male M10 fitting is long enough to properly seal at the bottom of the hole in the bias valve. Or get straight 1/8npt-to-M10x1 adapters.

Also, in reply about Brian Jacobs comment regarding using a BBK strictly for street use, one of the two main benefit are better feedback from the brake pedal, much larger pad selection, and also cheaper if the calipers are made by Wilwood. And this is not an infomercial ;-)
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

My car is a street car and its just a roll cage away from being a competitive full time track car.

I think its awesome, people in denial with stock brakes need to get a clue.
